Start implementation of operating plan “School security”

The Regional Police Directorate in Mitrovica has in time made all necessary preparations for launching implementation of this operational plan.

Given that within the operational police plan, the phase of action is in line for proactive access to security delivery, so for the initial phase of the Mitrovica region's road traffic unit has prepared the action plan, aimed at providing security in the nearby roads and along schools, while some of the primary schools, these schools that have direct access to national, magistrates and regional roads, have been placed at priority.

Road traffic police units in areas near these schools will increase security measures, with the focus on coming time intervals of early class students, where their participation in road traffic is for the first time.

Along with road traffic units within the operational plan, police stations have also been prepared as planned since today in elementary and secondary schools engage police officials, including police officials in civilian clothes.

The entire police approach to providing security at educational-educial facilities will continue in co-ordination with educational and educational authorities, as at the level of municipal education directors, school directors.

Police seek understanding and co-operation of all participants in traffic, respecting road traffic regulations, “Watchful in areas and targeted objects ) school”.
