Although there is the theory that snoring is associated with bad sleep, new research has shown that this is not true.
Scientists have studied snoring and have measured by microphones how loud a person is scratched. They concluded that snoring is not related to sleeping, nor is it related to the fatigue of the following day.
The participants had a small microphone in them that recorded how often they snored, and the next day they had to appreciate how well they had slept. The results showed that those snoring the most were no more tired than the other participants, writes “Koha Ditore”. Additionally, the snoring did not affect bedtime or wake up during the night.
There were 235 people involved in the research who were measured by the snoring, while 74 participants were divided into three groups, those who snoring slightly, on average, and many. The following day, they were asked how they had slept and felt tired. Interestingly, no link was found between the intensity of the snoring and past sleep.
