Thank you Bytyqi, acting minister of Education, Science and Technology (MASHT), who was among the Social Democrat Initiative, said that from today his political activity will continue at the Social Democrat Party (PSD).
From today, my political activity will continue with the PSD. I have always informed the public that it continues to support left politics. Social democrat policies are the most necessary for the country”, Bytyqi said, on the “Image” programme in RTK1.
According to him, the PSD has been given space to contribute to the education system and other sectors that will help Kosovo develop.
“We have been given the necessary space to contribute including the education system and other sectors that are needed for the country's development”, Bytyqi said.
He declined to comment on the reasons for his departure from the Initiative, repeating that he has said earlier what is behind it. I have nothing to add to what I said earlier about my leaving the Initiative. It's enough what I said”, he said.
Bytyqi added that over two years in his work as minister of Science and Technology, he has done much, despite the many difficulties he has faced.
He confirmed that he did not have enough support in his work as minister, according to him, there have been obstacles to reforms in the education system. He adds there have been continuing obstacles and discontent in his work.
“Education is politicised, greater will is needed for education to be depoliticised, in a move it was done on the law prior to the appointment of directors”, he said.
Bytyqi, claims that he supports reforms in the education system in the municipality of Kamenica, he criticised SBASK Chairman Nundman Jashari, urging him not to interfere in the municipality's reforms, Stand Kastrati.
