The man who killed Robert Kennedy over half a century ago was found stabbed in a California prison.
Authorities identified the victim as Sirhan Sirhan, who has been in prison for more than 50 years for Kenede's murder during presidential races in 1968.
Authorities said the stabbed person is in hospital and is in stable condition.
Sirhan, who is 75, shot Kennedy in the Ambassador Hotel kitchen in Los Angeles, shortly after the politician declared victory in the presidential election of the Democrats in the state of California. Kennedy died the next day, writes VOA.
Sirhan Sirhan was convicted of murder, but his death penalty was later changed to life imprisonment.
