Witnesses at the morning session, Agim Ukaj and Nedzat Dragaj, have said they do not feel themselves damaged, writes Koha Ditore today.
The Witness Ukaj has confessed that during 2013 his mother had been sick from the heart, for which she had been sent to Peja Hospital for treatment. According to him, at this hospital, he had been told that he had been sent to CKUK, but he had not been able to do it. At QKUK, he was controlled by Rexhep Manaj, who had also told him he needed the stage, while instructed him to see the possibility for compensation from the Ministry of Health.
Special Prosecutor Florije Salihu-Salmoll asked the witness whether she had met at the Peja Hospital with Dr. Sali Shala, but the witness said she does not remember the name, but may have mentioned it to the prosecutor.
Prosecutor Shamol also asked the witness about some SMS that Dr. Sali Shala had exchanged for a representative of the IMH-Amtrit Bakiqi private hospital, but Ukaj said not to know about this communication. (Full art, you can read it in today's Timestar issue)
