The Social Democrat Party and the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo have held today a joint media conference, where they have unveiled parts from the ruling AAK-PSD coalition programme to reform the state administration, as well as the intention to adopt the Law on Government, through which the number of ministries, deputy ministers and the unnecessary number of government officials is cut.
Candidates for MPs, Albanian Pantina and Besnik Tahiri, indicated steps to be taken in this regard.
Our guess for the next government is to start digitizing the recruiting process first. This means that all application for all positions in public administration, and when we say public administration, we mean state administration, so ministries, education and health, will be digital. The application will be online and the test will be the basis of the assessment. So 70% of the assessment will be based on the test, which will be done in anonymous form. So the applicant will have its own digit and all assessment will be made without knowing the name of candidate”, said Mrs. Pantina.
Besnik Tahiri stressed, however, that the Law for Government is already complete. He presented two versions of what the future government, with 12 and 15 ministries, would look like, underlining that his recommendation was the government with 15 ministries.
