A group of Macedonian diaspora have protested outside their consulate in Melbourne, Australia, insulting and defaning Albanian and Greek flags.
On the 28th anniversary of Independence, citizens of Macedonian origin have protested the new name of the state with banners: “Macedonia alone, never North. Later, after they were desecrated, Albanian and Greek flags were burned in Melbourne Square.
The Balkan conflict appears to have erupted in Australia, even though the Diaspara Macedonians are thousands of miles of their native country.
However, the “anger” is not explained as the name agreement was reached with agreement by political parties marking a historical accord with Greece. Another factor affecting the country's stabilisation and reaching the agreement was Albanian, which explains “inat” to our flag.
Meanwhile, there is no reaction from Macedonian authorities regarding the incident or even an apology for desecration of the national flag. File.al
