“We will present official written solutions when we are ready and not in the function of an artificial deadline, and when it is clear that the EU will review with a constructive spirit, with the aim of replacing the backstop”, a British government spokesman stressed in front of journalists.
The Commission's spokesman in Brussels confirmed that the EU executive had received documentation from Great Britain and that technical talks will be held today and tomorrow.
