The country's prime minister's candidate, Fatmir Limaj, along with Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala, has visited the Industrial Zone in Suhareka, where he has seen closely the work being done on street asphalt in this park. Limaj said he pledged more than a year ago that they would complete all the infrastructure companies need here and that's what's happening.
There are over 70 companies, workers of small- and medium-sized enterprises, that this economic park is slowly turning into the employment axis, not just the Suhareka people, but the entire region. It's worth everyone to be interested in completing this economic park with all the necessary infrastructure. Today, I am pleased that MTI and Minister Shala have fulfilled that promise we have made with MPs and Deputy Prime Minister Hajdaraj, and all other colleagues have been assigned to engage in the work of implementing this” project, Limaj has said.
The last phase of the asphalt of all roads and blocks in this park has already begun with the right infrastructure, including electricity and, above all, is connecting the road to the highway so that companies don't need any access to the city but directly to the” highway, Limaj added.
He has praised the ministry for an excellent job, adding that he is very happy to be participating in the completion of a project he has promised.
This is the best example of how small- and medium-sized enterprises help, this is our policy that we come to and extend the state's hand, we perform our duties before people who have private initiative as preconditions to open new jobs. This is what action in action Kosovo needs and we will not stop. We are going to go to every city in Kosovo to build such parks so that businesses no longer need to spend their money on improving infrastructure that the state can manage and they focus directly on increasing their business production and strengthening”, Limaj has finished.
Minister Shala, in turn, has said this economic area is already functional, with all the monitoring infrastructure that businesses need to make it easier to do business.
“We are in an economic area, which is 160 hectares, where over 70 businesses are located and with a 2.6m-euro investment of MTI”, Shala said.
