It's one of those things we've been told over and over again, by doctors in schools and elsewhere: the average middle menstrual is 28 days”.
The idea of this <x0norm” caused many women to worry that something bad is happening in their bodies if they are not in time.
But it seems that the 28-day cycle is by no means the standard of that. In fact, it is very rare to have such a cycle, reports the “Metro”.
A new research is released from “Natural Circle” found that only 13% of women happen to have the average cycle for 28 days.
The length of the menstrual cycle is actually 29.3 days. We know it doesn't look like a big difference. But it confirms how little research and knowledge are done about the menstrual cycle and we so far believe it as general knowledge even if it's not true.
This study has been one of the largest studies of menstrual research. Likewise, researchers and scientists give a message, saying that even if you don't have a 28-day retrial, there's no need to panic and worry, it's totally normal.
