The Social Democrat Initiative on Friday evening has held an electoral gathering in the Kachanic municipality.
On third day of election campaign, candidate for prime minister by coalition Initiative - AKR-PD, Fatmir Limaj said it can bring together even those who disagree, and sit at the table with those who cannot see each other.
This country itself wouldn't have been made, and I can't save an individual, nor can I make it a individual, nor can I. We can do this together for good work. We need each other more than ever. We've joined in not many cases, but every time we've come together we've done miracles... I have many fellow fighters in this room, and many who are not in this room, who have joined us in the cause of freedom. Kosovo needs citizens today, not for politicians who slander, divide and point to”, Limaj said.
He said the Kachanic boys and girls should take the place they deserve. Social Democrat Initiative Secretary-General Bilal Sheriff said MP, prime minister and minister are not jobs, but representation mandates at the service of citizens.
“This country, Kosovo and no doubt within Kosovo, Kacanik needs people who, when they get confidence, want to return to their roots to account every day. And for that to be done, it takes a story with people in mind. Can you trust the country to someone who in the past has not done any good work for the country”, the Sheriff said.
According to the Sheriff, Limaj has been unjustly persecuted for years. Agim Chaka, chairman of the Kacanik Initiative branch, said the initiative five years ago surprised Kosovo, and today it is a factor for governance. The state, nothing before the state, power has no state without a power. The party has no state without a well-organised party. Individual-and no individual without the party. We also work hard on the horizontal level, all with social democrat spirit for the state”, Chaka said.
Agim Chaka and Hizri Vis are candidates for deputies from the Social Democrat Initiative in the Kacanic municipality.
