In recent years it has been seen that fighting corruption has become a priority of American foreign policy and President Donald Trump. This has also been reflected in Kosovo, where the American administration has been very severe in criticism of Kosovo institutions.
New American Ambassador to Kosovo Philip S. Costs almost weekly poses something against corruption, turning it into American policy top priority in Kosovo. The fight against corruption has already become part of the election campaign battle among political parties.
First to become the main topic of political and campaign programme is the leader of PDK, Kadri Wessel. Hich farther than today at a PDK sympathies rally in Lipjan, Kadri Veselini has said that with the United States, corruption is easier and better fought.
The US “best develops the economy and opens new jobs; with the US, we are more quickly integrated into NATO and the EU. My anti-corruption and nepotism platform is the common platform that the United States and President Trump have in the global fight against corruption” has said Wessel.
To prioritize the fight against corruption by Wessel, political analysts have a very simple explanation.
