A Dutch lawyer has been shot dead outside his Amsterdam home. The crime was brutal police-signed.
Derk Wiersum, 44, was the lawyer of a state witness in a case against members of a large drug gang who are charged with five more murders between 2015 and 2017.

“With this brutal murder, a new border has been crossed -- now even people simply doing their job no longer seem secure” - said police chief Eric Akerboom.
“Holanda has become a narco-state. Organised crime has taken full control of”- Jan Struijs, member of the NPB police union, said.
