Invited to “TV Barandov”, Zaman has said his proposal for attracting recognition will be discussed at the Czech Foreign Policy meeting, held in October.
Zaman has gone even further, saying that he must improve 2008's mistakes, when Chekhia had recognised Kosovo's independence.
“In my view, the mistake made by the Government in 2008 should be improved, where the resolution of Czech Parliament representatives failed to respect, who voted against recognition of Kosovo”, he said.
According to him, the government then led by Mirek Topolanek made a mistake that has to be improved.
We remember that the whole issue of Kosovo's recognition by Chechia started with Czech President Milos Zaman's visit to Belgrade.
Now, this topic is current in Serbian, Czech and Kosovo media.
From the Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs, there has been no defined response, but they have said the issue of recognition by Chechia is a closed topic.
