The damage to rivers other than much of the water world seems to be damaging to the animal world.
One such case occurred in the village of Dobrusa, Prizren, where two cows allegedly died after drinking water in Lumbardh.
According to village residents, on the 3108,2019 ' s, cows in the village of Dobroush drank water in the water where fish died some days ago.
The chairman of the Federation of Kosovo Fishermen, Bashkim Krasniqi, has said that many fish species are on the verge, and mostly Trofta Autokton.
Also in Lumbard, Prizren, about 12 tons of fish were allegedly killed. This is because of chemicals and waste being thrown into it.
“We have the case in Lumbardh, Prizren, where Lumbardi and the White Drin join, up to 12 tonnes of fish have died” Krasniqi has said.
Krasniqi has further added that he has sent samples to relevant institutions, but has not received any concrete answers if anyone has been convicted or what really happened to those cases.
