A research conducted in about 20 overweight people aged 55 has resulted in lowering blood pressure for an average of 14%, while only the diastolic component to 68%.
The results have been observed in people who have consumed their drinks by cocoa (which contained 701 mg flavanole) two hours before intensive aerobic training.
Fulvanoles are powerful antioxidants who, apart from having antiinflammator and anti -ancerogenic effect, have also shown themselves to be vases and powerful anti-hypertensives.
It is rich in magnesium, which provides energy for the body and reduces stress at the same time.
In cacao, caffeine is found in small quantities, up from 0.5-0.8 percent. Alkaloid is the teobromine for the greater amount found in cacao, where the cytodalization ranges from 2 to 2.7 %.
These substances stimulate the central nervous system by increasing concentration and driving away fatigue. Theobromine also has an effect on the opening of coronary and renal veins, with diuretic effect.
