CEC member abandons meeting, disappointed with decision on voting documents

Central Election Commission member Stevan Veselinovic has abandoned the meeting of this commission due to the decision being made that voters' identification documents during extraordinary elections in Kosovo must be issued in Kosovo. “is violated Article 90 of the Election Law and Article 16 of the Election Rule No. [...]
“is violated Article 90 of the Election Law and Article 16 of the Election Rule No. 09-2013, where it clearly says that by voting, all valid documents are used except the driver's license, which should have been issued in Kosovo”, Veselinovic said in the statement.
Veselinovic has said this Administrative Order violates the electoral rules which the CEC is obliged to implement.
He has said that this CEC decision “is directly directed against the Serbian people in Kosovo and that it aims to prevent Serbs from voting and choosing their representatives”, is claimed in the statement.
