High official of The PDK, Bujar Cakoli, has reacted to the Kamenica chairman's decision to stay Kastrati for the closure of 40 per cent of schools in this municipality.
Cakoli through a response to his Facebook page has said that this decision has come from Vetevendosje's backward policy, which, as Cacol says, has deceived the citizens of Kamenica by 2017 and now wants to remove them from the border belt with Serbia.
Bujar Calcoll's full response:
Kamenica Mayor Central Kastrati, elected by the VV party, is continuing the scandals, as are actions that have long-term consequences for residents and Kosovo's most eastern municipality. After triggering a scandal about two months ago when he appointed the 21-year-old director of finance who graduated from medical high school, he is now preparing for a separate move, not only scandalous but with huge consequences. Tomorrow, Mr. Kastrati, aims to drive primary schools in the villages of Tjec, Busovate, Krilev, Karacheva, etc. But the reactions are great. Revolts of residents, students and educators should be focused on demands to prevent this reckless move by Chairman Kastrati and Vetevendosje's devastating vision, which has deceived the citizens of Kamenica in the 2017 local elections. In the name of “reforms” in the school system and allegedly missing students, Kastrati without real initial analysis, without concrete explanations and real reasoning, is planning to close about 40% of elementary schools in Kamenica's maize villages. With this action, Kastrati is now formalising, a scandalous and dangerous move for the survival of residents of border generation villages who are consistent with not releasing their centuries-old seats. The state of Kosovo with limited budgetary opportunities has invested in the villages of Kamenica for building and maintaining those schools only to encourage residents to live and develop that area, while Vetevendosje vision in Kamenica wants to empty those settlements. We, we are against arbitrary actions of municipal power in Kamenica and support at all costs the right of citizens wherever they live to be educated and educated. Reforms are legitimate and important, but when they affect the dignity, will and right of citizens, especially in education and education, they should not apply. Since Vetevendosje came to power in Kamenica through citizen megalomanian fraud, hundreds of young people have been forced to flee Kamenica. We invite the local government of Kamenica to deal with the real problems of citizens who have left them without drinking water and to stop the evil school closing policies.
