The vehicle was near the “Bryce Canyon” National Park when he diverted the road and hit a street guard.
Of the 31 persons on the bus, four lost their lives, and the rest were taken to the hospital with mild injuries but others still in danger of life.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. Police have said they were calling about the crash around 11:32 local time Friday.
The “Bryce Canyon” park is known for its distinctive landscape of the narrow red - rock globes.
