Brexit could lead Prime Minister Boris Johnson to prison

Lord MacDonald, who held the senior prosecutor's post in 2003-2008, said if Johnson does not delay Brex's postponement, then the court orders the prime minister to be arrested.
A rejection in the face of this would be contempt of the court and that could lead that person to a prison of”, he said.
It is also possible for the court to seek another figure in the government authorising the delay. Another voice joins the former senior prosecutor's opinion on the matter.
Dominic Grays said that if Boris Johnson agrees to implement the law he will be sentenced to “prison for contempt at”, Beaconsfield deputy said. Former Supreme Court judge Lord Sussion also told Sky News there are “many ways” to implement the law.
He said MPs against the dispute could apply for a judicial order, ordering Mr. Johnson authorizing the delay.
If the prime minister still refuses to implement it, a judge may make an order demanding that a government official sign the “extension instead of Prime Minister”.
