Two brothers living in Australia were sentenced by the court to prison for having tried to detonate a plane into the air, while the decision on how many years behind bars will be taken at another hearing.
Aggressors allegedly linked to the Islamic militant group I SIS.
Mahmoud Khayat, 34, intended to crash the plane flying from Sydney to Abu Dhabi in July 2017. His brother Khaled Khayat, 51, was found guilty of the same charge.
The jury made the final decision Thursday regarding the two detainees. Their plan has failed, as the bag carrying the bomb was controlled by authorities because it was overweight.
