The Kosovo Banks Association (SHBK) has reacted to the armed robbery that took place today at a bank in Shtime.
The US through a media response has said that it strongly condemns today's act of armed robbery at an Institution bank, with cʹrast seeking from law enforcement agencies to bring to justice the chief of this ugliness act, which under gun threat, risked the safety of workers, citizens and police members.
“Such criminal groups, which aim to harm Kosovo businesses, and in particular banks that endanger the well-being of citizens and seriously damage the image of Kosovo, must be identified as soon as possible and the same as received due punishment.
The Association of Banks of Kosovo, with the goal of establishing security in the banking sector, in February of this year, has signed co-operation agreements with the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Kosovo Police and the Central Bank of Kosovo, with the aim of advancing co-operation to raise the level of security in the banking sector so that their banks, staff and citizens can have a safer environment for developing their” activity, it is said in response.
