With a special ceremony held from 11:00 in the National Library “Peter Bogdani” in Pristina, today the first Albanian-Serbian-Albanian Internet dictionary will be promoted.
Since language barriers have been identified as one of the main obstacles to involvement and co-operation among different communities in Kosovo, The IOM has begun to develop new tools and resources to learn official languages.
In co-operation with the Office of the Language Commissioner, the British Embassy in Pristina and UNMIK, the IOM consistently supports activities to promote Polyglot and the importance of language learning.
After developing VocUp's teaching platform, the first Serbian or Albanian online dictionary has been completed, engaging academic experts from Pristina and Belgrade for the first time in more than 30 years.
In this case, a short documentary has been prepared to highlight the efforts of dedicated individuals to promote the importance of Polyglot.
