The airline has also decided to change the pilot menu and flight drivers by offering them low fat foods, mainly vegetarian.
The goal is to offer healthy and cheap food to crews both on domestic and international flights, spokesman Dynanja Kumar said.
According to the media, the new menu costs each meal will drop to one third of the current -- up to 10 euros.
The decision comes at a time when the Government of India is trying to sell the company. atsh
