“They must choose whether Kosovo will continue consolidating and strengthening relations with Western allies, embracing Western values of freedom and democracy or diverting us towards the tree that risks leading us to back and despotic ideas coming from the East”, Wessel said after a visit to the Bifurcaconion of the Nerodime River that flows into the two seas.
Through a post on his Facebook page, Wessel has said that he stands on the wing heading west, because, as Wessel says, this is the geopolitical orientation that our ambassadors have left us.
Kadri Wessel's full status:
The Bifurcacathium of the Nerodim River is a special natural heritage because it represents a rare geographic phenomenon of a river's pour into the two seas. One tree flows into the Sitnica River and continues toward the Iber River, Morawa, and through the Danube reaches the Black Sea in the East. The other tree through the Lepenc River and Vardar flows into the Aegean Sea.
At this crossroads I stand on the wing heading west, because this is the geopolitical orientation that has left us to our foster parents.
Kosovo has achieved its freedom and independence, having the support of the US and Western allies. So I am sure that only with them can we meet the challenges ahead.
New elections will symbolically be a kind of bifurcacacion of ideological orientation for our citizens. They must choose whether Kosovo will continue consolidating and strengthening relations with Western allies, embracing Western values of freedom and democracy, or diverting us towards the tree that risks taking us towards back and despotic ideas coming from the East.
