Otherwise, President Vuciq, after meeting with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in New York, has said he has asked the US administration to exercise stronger influence on Kosovo Albanians to lift taxes imposed in November last year.
While US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has said normalising Serbia's reports with Kosovo will strengthen the stability and prosperity of Serbia and the Western Balkans, as well as the transatlantic community.
Pompeo made these comments after a meeting in New York with the Serbian president.
“A productive lunch meeting with President Vuciq, about Kosovo-Serbia dialogue and Serbia's EU accession. The normalisation of reports with Kosovo will strengthen the stability of Serbia, the Western Balkans and the transatlantic community”, the secretary Pompeo wrote after the meeting on Twitter.
