First time published: This letter was written by the hand of Gjergj Kastriot

Historian Jahya Drancholl has published on Facebook a rare autograph letter from Gjergji Kastriot é Skenderbeu, sent to the Bradia of the Republic of Siene in Italy. The letter is believed to have been written 568 years ago, respectively, on August 8, 1451.

Through a post in his Facebook account, Drancholl said that the autograph paper in question is known for one of the 10 autograph papers (signed) by Skenderbeu's own hand, stored in known world archives, such as Rome, Venice, Milan, Naples, Paris, Dubrovnik, Zagreb and Belgrade.

This autograph paper, written under the humanistic writing of Latin and Italian times, is a brief fragment separated from a major history”, Drancholi wrote.
