And, at this time, the board of this public enterprise is considering the possibility of a lawsuit against the Government of Kosovo for the incident received in 2015, KTV reports.
Members of the Telekom Board have confirmed this.
Suad Ujan, on the phone, said they're consulting for such a possibility.
However, he says they have not made any concrete decisions yet.
For such a move, he had initially warned Economy Development Minister Valdrin Luka, days earlier in Interactive.
And from the institution he heads, they say they will reject this lawsuit.
We don't have any information that any of the public companies have filed charges against us. This indictment may come because legislation in force enables it to do so. We will use all legal ways, to challenge all decisions that we see as groundless”, the Ministry of Economic Development says in response.
A few months ago, the Telekom Board had asked the government to return 15m euros to the company's divident.
However, this was rejected by the Government of Kosovo.
Haki Shatri, the prime minister's adviser to the resignation, Ramush Haradinaj, says no interference in the budget is currently allowed.
In 2015, from Kosovo Telecom, the then government had attracted 15m euros of company profits, which, according to officials from this institution, had become illegal.
Telekom, now on the verge of default, has started its first privatisation stages
