Serbia's Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic has said they expect support from Russia in defending its territorial integrity and sovereignty in Kosovo, and such support is also expected when it comes to Pristina's attempt to enter Interpol.
“We together with the Russian Federation continue the war on Kosovo, and not only in terms of Interpol but also in other international institutions”, Stefanovic said of “Pink TV”
He has also stressed that Russian support is large also in multilateral and bilateral projects.
Kosovo has failed to become an Interpol member after failing to receive the necessary majority, out of two-thirds of the votes of the participating countries in the General Assembly of this organisation, which was held in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates last November.
