Although I still do not know the quality in which she is invited to testify, MP Kadrijaj says she has not decided whether she will remain silent or answer the questions of the Special Prosecutor.
I'll contact any of our lawyers and depending on the recommendations he will receive from the lawyer I will also act. I'm happy for that time period of my life. It is the brightest and still proudest period with the KLA and the clean and fair fight of the Kosovo Liberation Army”, Kadrijaj told Radio Free Europe.
Lawyer Arianan Koci, who is accredited to represent cases near the Special Court, says this institution has been slow, as it has been nearly eight years since the investigation had started.
Koci says the Special Court is managing strangely even the process of interviewing suspects and witnesses.
There are indicators that are in the final phase, the investigation of these days, even though it cannot be guaranteed anything because we now have an unusual investigation of 7-8 years long, so no one can exactly predict when the investigation will end and in what form the evental executions will arise. However, if this continues to be the case with the special court, so-called, I'll be loud so that next year the mandate will not be extended. Above all, the same cases have been addressed by The Hague Tribunal, the UNMIK Court as the international court, the EULEX Court and local courts”, Koci said.
On the other hand, KLA war veterans expect to have the largest number of former participants to be invited by the special.
KLA OVL Chairman Hysni Gucati said the number of guests for interview by the Specialised Prosecutor is expected to increase by the end of August.
A fine number is expected this month to be announced to the Special Court. This is known to be political rather than the discovery of any cases here and there spoken. I always believe that there will be blames and there will be no arguments for those acts”, Gucati said.
