He has said the three largest parties in the country -- the LDK, the PDK and LV -- would have to compete alone to reconfirm power in electorates.
In this interview given to the newspaper “The new era”, Rugova has declared that the LDK will have a consensus candidate for prime minister.
He has said that, apart from Isa Mustaf, serious candidates for prime minister are Lutfi Haziri, Vjosa Osmani and Kujtim Shala.
He has voiced optimism that in early parliamentary elections The LDK will be victorious.
Rugova has called the process of electing Musfata democratic at the helm of LDK.
