The Parliamentary Investigative Commission on the situation in PTK and Vala has discussed the way the work continues following new circumstances created concerning the distribution of the Kosovo Assembly.

In this case it was said that the Investigative Commission should continue working in the next legislature as well and not send a Parliament report, but only vote on a draft where the next legislature would have a starting point for the current work.

The commission also decided to wrap up the interview phase and move into the compile phase.

MPs also said that even though their work has been completed only 30 per cent, the prosecution has grounds in their documentation to initiate criminal charges.

Commission Chairman Wisar Ymeri presented the two possibilities for the commission before the distribution of the Parliament to submit a report and vote or continue the investigation into the next legislature.

Ymer said this investigation should be continued in the next legislature, as it said, the rapid report may have shortcomings.

The best thing to do is to leave it open to the next legislature, as if we quickly finish the report, then it would have shortcomings”, he said.

The MP supported this request PDK, Bekim Haxhiu, who said only 30 per cent of witnesses have been interviewed so far and that investigations should continue in the next mandate.

Continued investigation into the next mandate demanded and LDK deputy Armend Zemaj, but said even with this documentation, criminal procedures could be initiated.

The same request was made by MP Milaim Zeka and AAK's Shkumbim Demalij.

Finally, two more meetings must be held before voting on how to decide.
