“Sovereignty is an insulating attitude. I'm worried because speeches similar to Hitler's are heard in 1934. Before us! Us! ... We, above all. These are thoughts to intimidate”, Pope Francisescu underlined in the interview of the Italian daily, not to mention politicians or countries in particular.
“Sovereignty must be protected, but relations with other countries must be protected and promoted, with the European Union”, he added.
