Pacolli recalls Ohrid Agreement, has words for northern Macedonia Albanians

Kosovo's top diplomat Behgjet Pacolli has recalled signing the Ohrid Agreement, which took place 18 years ago.

He says Albanians in northern Macedonia are an essential element of the country's Euro-Atlantic orientation.

On 13 August 18 years ago, the Ohrid Agreement was signed, with which it ended the several-month conflict in the Republic of Macedonia of Vettius in 2001. The Ohrid Agreement received the support of the international Community and the Albanian and Macedonian political bloc as the only framework for multiethnic state development by creating a European form for interethnic co-existence. Albanians in northern Macedonia are an essential element of the country's Euro-Atlantic orientation.
