It seems Mustafa has rejected the offer that Vetevendosje leader made for co-operation.

This is Mustafa's letter to Albin Kurti:

Letter to Vetevendosje Movement Chairman Z. Albin Kurti

Dear Speaker of the Vetevendosje Movement, Mr. Albin Kurti

Over the months, weeks and last days, the LDK has worked hard and opened to reach a co-operation agreement with the VV in order to connect the pre-election coalition and compete together on 6 October.

The LDK has long revealed that it recognises and praises the expectations of Kosovo's citizens for this co-operation.

The LDK is open for the deal to be connected, under the direction of our prime ministerial candidate, Mrs. Vjosa Osmani.

The LDK General Council has unanimously approved Mrs. Osmani, therefore, has full support of the LDK to lead the list as a candidate for prime minister and to win the elections.

The LDK is the largest political subject in Kosovo, has the greatest trust, has the greatest support, and will therefore lead the country.

Your proposal leads, from racing with others, to racing between us, while it would seriously damage common interest.

Also, the LDK estimates that a list without a nominated leader is a top-free list and without clear orientation.

The LDK expresses its full readiness to continue co-operating with the VV, now or after the elections, and considers it a partner in the cause of saving the country from crime, corruption, extortion and isolation.

Respectfully, Isa Mustafa
