The Ministry of Trade and Industry has reacted after funeral services protests with the latter, who rejected an agreement between this institution, the Pristina municipality and BIC.
Yesterday, funeral companies accused BIK of monopolies in performing funeral services, selling coffins and various boards.
However, MTI says there is no such agreement between them, BIK and the Pristina municipality regarding funeral services.
“Such services are not regulated in the MTI's scope, nor are they its competence. So this may be a technical error on the part of the reporting media regarding the involvement of MTI”, the report says.
