The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kosovo, through a communique for the media, has expressed deep concern for media reports to officials of the Central African Republic who have been bribed by senior officials from Serbia's Ministry of Foreign Affairs to issue counterfeit marks about Kosovo recognition.
“We are deeply concerned that the Serbian government has installed corruption and bribery as diplomatic means to acquire counterfeit documents that serve nothing only for the escalation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia”, the MPJ response said.
As reported in the report, Kosovo has faced in the last three years with an unprecedented diplomatic and propaganda campaign from Serbia with the support of Russia and other countries to prevent Kosovo's integration into the international community. “We have been tracking these diplomatic tools used by Serbia several times in recent years and have established them in Brussels and the major Western capitals with concrete facts. At the same time we have informed public opinion of this way that Serbia is using bribery and corruption”.
Serbia has used every means to undermine Kosovo internationally. We have expressed our concern that they have used bribes, couptive relatives, arms sales and visa-free and non-moral ties (such as INTERPOL's case) to oppose Kosovo. Serbia has invited foreign officials to Belgrade to visit without taking into account their legitimacy and, through bribes, “diplomatic tenders” and false documents that have been rejected by the countries then”.
International organisations like Amnesty International have expressed their concern over selling Serbia's weapons to Africa. In many countries it has been used as a means to strengthen its home propaganda for Ivica Dacic”, said further in the MPJ response, Periscope follows.
All diplomatic marks shown in Belgrade that were rejected by governments through diplomatic channels or publicly are written by a single person, Vladimir Cizelj, who is known for his criminal past and links with organised crime networks outside Europe and who now serves as adviser to Serbian Minister Jastem”.
“Cizelj was involved in Botswana in a scandal known as Jerry Chitube's case for the sale of Botswane encryption systems through taking bribes from senior members of the government. In the case of Jerry Chitube, Cizej was known as “the cofer”.
“Vladimir Cizelj and his company Vlatko have also been at the centre of the controversy for businesses taken by the Serbian Ministry of Internal Affairs through specific bids at what time the Minister was Ivica Dacic. State audience Serbia had established dilemmas about a number of tenders signed with Vlatko”.
Another scandal involving Cizelji was the issue of corruption at the National Bank of Serbia, including former head of Ivica Dacic's cabinet Branko Lazarevic. Cizej stands near Ivica Dacic in the continuation of “diplomacy cofer” against Kosovo worldwide. Cizej is directly involved in Suriname, Komor, Lesotho, Burundi, where he corrupted senior officials in these countries to issue false verbal notes and has closed arms agreements with dictatorships that buy Serbian weapons and technology produced by Vlatko”.
The last <x0 need, he met at his company with Venezuela's Foreign Minister, who visited Belgrade at a time when his government is not recognised by the majority of the international community. Vlatko is not only a danger to Kosovo's national security and its international position, but also a centre for non-democratic regimes to buy military equipment, including Venezuela, which is in a major battle with the international community on the country's human rights situation”.
“Kosovo is ready to act as a constructive neighbour, but Serbia is installing a climate that does not create room for normalisation of relations”, said at the end of the reaction.
