Even this year the seminar has gathered numerous researchers from different countries in Pristina.
Seminari Director Shkumbin Munishi, in an interview for Economy Online, says the students' interest in learning Albanian is great.
He says a considerable number of scholars are participating in scientific sessions and tables.
We've had a considerable number of seminarists. About 90 seminarists from different parts of the world have arrived. We have seminarists from Russia, Turkey, Germany, Egypt, Croatia and Serbia. We generally continue with constant interest in participating in the seminar. As far as seminar innovations are concerned, the seminar continues to develop both academic and academic activities in the sense of language courses held but also scientific activities. Each year within the framework of new activities, we have new research flows from the Albanian field of language and literature and culture in general”, he says.
Under scientific activities, Munich says different speeches and tables are being held by different professors and scientific references.
“Theme at the science session in the field of language will be the framework of the current Albanian, in literature the topic will be like being converted into Albanian Literature” and at the culture session the topic will be political and vital social networks: he says.
Munich says this seminar is also being supported by the Faculty of Philology in Tirana. It even says that some of the sessions are expected to be held in the Albanian capital.
The International Department for Albanian Literature and Culture is organised with the co-chairer, which is the framework of Tirana's Philological Faculty. At the Tirana University Rector's opening, it has given an idea that certain sessions take place in Tirana as well, and of course we welcome all ideas, and we will discuss these ideas jointly with our colleagues from Tirana and we will make joint decisions”, he concluded.
The director of the Semnar says all activities are in full co-ordination with the UPI, and with support from the STAT, who have cared for the welfare and accommodation of guests.
According to him, Seminari has a separate budgetary subline under the University of Pristina, also emphasises that they also have the support that has enabled the establishment of seminarists at Pristina University dormitories.
Also on Saturday for seminarists is a tour of Pec, and we have received support from the Peja municipality for making this trip. This tour is accomplished in order for seminarists to get acquainted with parts of Kosovo and, of course, create an impression of Kosovo in general”, he says.
The International Ministry for Albanian Language, Literature and Culture was founded in 1974 near the Faculty of Philology (then: Pristina University Faculty of Philosophy.
This Seminar is organised for students and students who deal with problems of Albanian language, literature and culture, as well as albanology generally.
The seminar has held a total of thirty-seven sessions. In 1995 and 1996, the sessions of this seminar were held in Tirana in co-operation with the Albanian Academy of Sciences' Language and Literature Institute. Sessions 19 and 20000-2001 are organised in co-operation with the Albanian Academy of Sciences' Institute of Language and Literature.
