During this visit, Minister Ismaili said Ferizaj is correcting a multiyear-old injustice to have a modern hospital responding to citizens' demands.
I'm very happy to see even closely that the construction work of Ferizaj Hospital has advanced greatly. This will be one of the most modern hospitals in Kosovo. Given the dynamics of the works, we believe this hospital will be available to citizens next year”, Minister Ismaili said.
Ferizaj Mayor Agim Aliu has thanked Minister Ismaili for the great support this project will be realised on time.
“Ferizaj, the citizens of Ferizaj will have a hospital, which will address all their needs”, Chairman Aliu said.
USKKUK Director Basri Sejdiu has added that preparations have already started since the opening of this hospital, to be met with health professionals and equipment as needed.
According to an MS communiqué, this 10m-euro project was built in an area of 2.7 hectares.
The seven-floor targets, with 22 thousand square metres, will have 220 beds and all spaces and equipment meeting the standards of a general hospital.
