This Haradinaj statement comes now when only one day left for the Certificate of pre-election coalitions, but still no political party has applied to the CEC for that.
He has ruled out any possibility of entering the pre-election coalition, with the PDK, LDK and VV.
We have remained open to potential partner parties, such as the Initiative, the AKR, and any other party. But we don't have a ruling coalition agreement with PDK, LDK and VV in options. If there's will from the Initiative, we're open. It's a stable relationship with them, it's the same with AKR and other small parties. But we do not aim and there will be no broad coalition, in the concrete case, The PDK, LDK and VV”, he says.
Asked whether a possible coalition between the LDK and the VV would change the view of joining the PDK, Haradinaj says he remains steadfast in his position on the issue.
“Neither changes our position nor a possible coalition between LDK and VV. We have a very clear governmental concept, 100 percent of Kosovo. We have defined who we are, what we seek, and what we offer to voters and we don't base our work on other people's relationships at all. It's a matter of LDK and VV doing what they're doing together, but we're ourselves and in time we've informed the citizen of what we are”, he says.
The AAK leader says that in these elections they enter to win the race and rule with the country. While after the elections, he prefers to co-operate only with those parties that generally support the AAK concept, “100 per cent Kosovo”.
He says they will not make any compromise that violates Kosovo's citizenship.
“We are working to win elections and as winners we will listen to everyone's views of seeing which co-operation will be most useful to the country. Our attitudes on full subjects are known. 100 percent of the country is incommpromis. So we will not compromise with anyone about the governmental goals that are of interest to the country. Because legitimising a ruling concept of 100 per cent state gives Kosovo the opportunity to return to economic development, resource activism. We already have a business plan for Trepca”, he says.
The outgoing prime minister opposes further co-operation with the PDK. He says this party has no good experience.
He charges that he changed his position on the tax, and that, according to him, legitimised Serbia's request for tax removal.
It even says it affected the deterioration of international reports.
We have a bad experience with PDK. This party has shown inconsistent in the tax situation with Serbia, causing us great shock from their instability. And this has not given us a good experience unfortunately. They were sensitive moments when unity was required not only within the ruling coalition but also more broadly and the internal breakdown caused great trauma. Then even before the opposition, but even before our international friends, we were not unique in requests, and this improved Serbia's position and Serbia's demand, which returns to dialogue if tax is withdrawn. But the tax won't be removed to recognition, because we don't have what we give for recognition”, Haradinaj added.
