Kosovo's incumbent Prime Minister, Ramush Haradinaj, has been homazhe at the grave of former President Ibrahim Rugova.
He said this visit was agreed weeks ago with the Rugova family and is scheduled to be on Mother Teresa's birthday, since President Rugova himself was human.
He denied that this visit involved campaigning.
Haradinaj said he is not aware whether the president will announce the election date today.
The incumbent prime minister has called political maturity the decision of distribution of the Assembly on August 22nd.
I don't know if I'm going to announce it today. It's in the president's powers after the Parliament has been distributed. We have indeed shown that we have political maturity and high level of democracy the day the distribution of the” Assembly took place, he said.
Following former President Rugova's grave visit, Haradinaj will visit the late president's family without the media.
