After two hours of work, the IX Election Assembly in the Democratic League of Kosovo has been completed.
At the helm of this party has also been chosen for a mandate, current chairman Isa Mustafa. Meanwhile, Vjosa Osmani, a member of the Rugova family and Diaspora, has been elected to the Steering Council.
Mustafa has been voted in advertising and has been the only candidate for party chairman.
By majority, LDK delegates decided that Isa Mustafa would again be party leader.
The Election Assembly process was kept closed to the public and kept under control at all times by security.
LDK leader Isa Mustafa has eliminated Fatmir Sejdiu from the race, whose são has approved the request to remove signatures to be part of the party chief race. Sejdiu had demanded that there be 50+1 per cent of the signatures to become part of the race, It says Periscope.
Since nine o'clock in the morning, preparations had begun to be all set to begin the 9th LDK Election Assembly.
The hall was beginning to fill with numerous delegates who had come to vote for the first of their party.

The ballot boxes that were not used for a single moment.

At 10: 00 p.m., the hall started filling up where among the first ones to come were Lumir Abdijdjik, Dorothy Maloku, Cameron Shala, Melihate Trmolli, Armend Zemaj, Bardhil Meta, Hazir Borovci, Anton Quin.

Before the Electoral Assembly was launched, LDK leadership member Arba Abashi has said consensus has been reached for LDK chairman.
His words sounded as if this consensual candidate were Isa Mustafa.
You're also witnessing that there's been too much debate, a consensus that you'll see very soon. We will offer Kosovo an offer to govern the country. It's been debated, but it's arrived. Podujevo, Peja and several large branches have decided to come out with a fugitive candidate so that there should be no division... You soon know what will happen”, Abrashi said in a statement to the media.

At first, the media were allowed to stay inside the hall to provide images for the public, but once the opening was made by Isa Mustafa, it was ordered that the media release the hall and the election Assembly continue their work, writes Periscopi.
The solemn opening of this assembly is done with the Kosovo state anthem.

Later, the first address was delivered by LDK chairman Isa Mustafa, who said that as a principle they are not afraid to take responsibility for Kosovo leadership.
He has called minor incidents the beatings located on several branches of the LDK.
Meanwhile, political rivals have been told that we see each other in the elections.
Part of Isa Mustafa's speech:
We completed a comprehensive election process. We came up with the programme, idea and vision and we can say we are hopeful that the LDK is displaying energy, well-coordinated political action and co-operation with membership. It is time to assume responsibility for Kosovo. You bring about changes that the country needs. It's been a long time to stop scandals and bad governance. We like LDK want union policy, not division. We will unite the good people of Kosovo. We witnessed how it is governed without corruption and economic development. We rejected trades with our territory and independence. The LDK is the first with the number of deputies, the most important municipalities to lead and the first with confidence in public opinion. We have ahead of a valuable LDK and ready to take on new responsibilities. We're turning 30 years into the oldest party. We are not afraid to take responsibility. Kosovo should continue dialogue, in order to convey the message that we are for dialogue, but there will be no border discussions. We want to give them opportunities to run all those who can do for LDK. There were several minor incidents, but there were. We're a party of wise and intellectual people. Those hungering for power tried to hinder us. We tell our political rivals that we see each other in the elections. With us, there is hope in Kosovo. From this place we'll get stronger and more united. Let's finish this assembly the way we started it.
Fatmir Sejdiu falls out of LDK chief race
Isa Mustafa is the only candidate for LDK) chairman, reports Periscopi.
This has happened after the other candidate, former leader Fatmir Sejdiu, has received only 78 delegates' votes.
To enter the race he would need 50 + 1 of the delegates' votes, which was not achieved.
Following the removal of the race for the first of LDK, Fatmir Sejdiu has said delegates have been threatened.
He has called the rate 50 + 1 of the delegates' votes again, anti-unconstitutional to compete.
This was a repeat of what happened in 2015, the rate of 50 + 1. That rate is for the leader of the party to fail the race to others. Delegates have faced a different challenge this time. It was the vote of narrowing free thought. I also understand people who were threatened that they could not go to work on Monday. The 78 who support me don't have the work issue”, Sadie said.
Frightened Trmmel: Mustafa is the minister of Nundman Morina, not even in Communism.
LDK member Melihate Tarmoll has emerged nervous from the LDK's election assembly, as Isa Mustafa has been elected party chairman reports Periscopi.
Trmocol has named Mustaph the Minister of Beftman Morina, until he added that such things have not even happened in Communism.
It's not like this either. It's not strange because at the helm of LDK, we have a minister of Beftman Morina. I hope very much in the power of the LDK, its excellent membership and the Rugovian LDK will move forward. They provided the delegates with”, she said away.

LDK Deputy Chairman Lutfi Haziri has been declared after the re-election of Isa Mustaf, who has said the process has gone according to the agreement he proposed, with which almost everyone has agreed.
“The process went according to procedure. I am happy that the proposed agreement has all been accepted, except for the two candidates that have entered the race. Four candidacys have been averted from that agreement. As a proposer and initiative of the deal, we have come face to face. Rivalry is outside LDK, not inside. The LDK's team will succeed in the election process”, Haziri has said.
On the other hand, he has also responded to the accusations of Fatmir Sejdiu and Melihate Trmcol.
It's their assessment. I continue with respect. In democracy, votes are not pardoned”, he said February.

After the completion of the 9th Election Assembly, Isa Mustafa has held a press conference.
Mustafa has said the process has been open, democratic and that everyone has been able to run there.
This process has been open, democratic, and everyone has been able to run even here, even through branches”, he said.
He has refused to comment the statements of LDK member Melihate Trmolli, that he is Minister of Beftman Morina.
“I had a comment. Let Melihat comment. I was minister of the Republic of Kosovo”, he said away.
He has also talked about the conversation he had with former party leader Fatmir Sejdiu.
I have talked to Fatmir Sejdiu and wished him success in the elections and told him to split up after the elections”, he added.
Mustafa at this conference said no one has been denied candidacy in this race.
According to him, there is no agreement in the LDK on who will be a candidate for prime minister, until he added that such a thing would be decided on the Council.
Until once again he said they'd make a coalition with the PDK.
“has become hypothetical questions. We don't coalition with PDK. And as for who the candidate for prime minister will be, we have arranged with status to decide who will be the best to run the country. There's no deal with anyone for that position. We put it all in general council. We're organized houses and we've had experiences in domestic democracy. It's not easy to point LDK] at”, Mustafa said.
In the last country, in May 2015, in which problems had been dealt with Vjosa Osmani, who was denied the nomination, as well as Donika Grovalla Schartz, the media had left the hall, the moment they had started disillusionment among delegates for representation at the party's Steering Council.
Isa Mustafa was re-elected chairman, with adulation in this nation. While for the first time he was elected in 2010, until the counterCandids had until then Chairman Fatmir Sejdiu. And he had expressed his candidacy to return to the LDK helm, which was not supported by most delegates./Periscopi/
