Democratic Party of Kosovo deputy leader Xhavit Haliti has voiced confidence that the PDK will win in the October 6th snap elections.
This more legislature will be remembered for violating the Constitution and rules in the Assembly by the Democratic League and Vetevendosje. We have not reached any agreement with any political party.
In interview “Haliti has declared that the PDK has not set red lines for any political subject, but that according to him, the post of prime minister should meet only PDK chairman Kadri Veseli.
Haliti during the “candidate “interview, has declared that in the seventh legislature of the Kosovo Parliament, he claims to be MPs, but that, according to him, this country does not depend only on him, but also on party leadership.
I believe it's not up to me to make a decision or make a decision. We have a rule in the party that all the candidacies come from the branches and from the party leadership, but I believe that compared to all the candidacys that I have been a deputy and member of the Parliament's leadership this time again I will be one of the Democratic Party candidates to compete, if there is any innovation in party analysis, then normally I will leave the way if it is necessary”, Haliti said.
As far as the PDK has stressed that it has not set red lines against any political party, the deputy chairman of The PDK has declared they are making all preparations to win the 6 October elections.
He says anyone who talks about any coalition, The PDK as the only condition is that the prime minister's post meets only Kadri Wessel.
“We will win the majority of MPs, we will win the winning party in this election. I said we haven't put red lines, but we have only one condition the government will lead Kadri Wessel, and with whom it needs to be made because the coalition needs to be made, then it will be discussed by the interest of other parties as well as our interests that are both ideological and political, which are of Kosovo”, Haliti said.
While only a few hours away from completing the deadline for political parties to hand over the coalition to the Central Election Commission, Haliti says that by this moment the PDK has not reached any coalition agreement with any political party and is not closed for discussion.
We are determined to firmly organise for elections we have built a membership and highly organised infrastructure with branches and submarines to win elections. So far we have not insisted on being in a coalition with someone. Today is the last day of what I would say should be presented for coalitions in the CEC so far we don't have any agreement with any party but we've been declared not closed for discussions, but we're closed to negotiate giving the prime minister's post another party. This is our condition with whom we can talk to enter the talks”, says the former deputy head of the Kosovo Assembly.
Speaking about the determined tax on Serbian and Bosnian products, and whether this fee should be removed from the future Kosovo government or not, the former deputy head of the Kosovo Assembly says that if the international community seeks to remove the determined tax aimed at unlocking dialogue with Serbia, such a thing must be accepted by the future Kosovo government.
I am really going to have an opportunity for the implementation of the CEFTA agreement for both sides not for Serbia to have obstacles to Kosovo, or Bosnia to make obstacles to Kosovo as Kosovo releases all products coming to Kosovo. While the tax on whether the entire international community but wants to be removed to go further with talks with Serbia to intensify the situation, I think it will have to be removed”, Haliti said.
Subheader The PDK has argued the country's move to early resolution after praising that the two opposition LDK parties and the Vetevendosje Movement blocked the Kosovo Parliament's work, but on the other hand has not argued Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's resignation.
We somehow did not give the president time and space to apply the Constitution twice as it is with the Constitution to create a possible mechanism, a new government that would carry out the mandate of this government. When I take into account what I mentioned not to function the Assembly because the two opposition parties did not participate in the vote, the Serbian List party that is in parliament did not participate in the hearings and a part of the deputies of office many times were not in the hall and the opportunity to make decisions or vote was so, then I reasoned on that election going, while I did not reason on Mr Haradinaj's decision, who argued his resignation by the weather, that the Court called me in The Hague to testify to<1>
As the deputy head of the Kosovo Assembly, Xhavit Haliti has praised that the sixth legislature of the Kosovo Parliament will be remembered for constitutional violations and disrespect of the Assembly regulations by the two largest opposition parties.
“This legislature I think will be remembered more because of violating the Constitution and rules in the Parliament by the two opposition parties from the Democratic League and Vetevendosje, which have not remained to vote on the laws, vote on decisions, resolutions in the Kosovo Assembly, and a legislature where the Government has never implemented the rules that have always been part of the debates in parliament and say of the fact that in the parliamentary republic it is not allowed in any case”, he stressed.
