Ambassador Philip Costett has confirmed through Twitter that they cannot be part of this agency while it serves certain political interests rather than citizens.
“The US has resigned from the Agency for Comparison and Verification of Property board, as if Great Britain did in advance. We cannot continue to be a part of it until its leadership serves personal and political interests, rather than citizens”, Costnet wrote.
“The selection of unqualified friends to occupy governing positions undermines Kosovo's image and breaks public confidence”.
The US's opposition as of Great Britain is to Naser Shala and his position at the agency's helm.
