Daka briefs Apostolova about election preparations

Ambassador Apostolova voiced support for the work of the Central Election Commission and announced that EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy.

Mogherin has received Kosovo President Hashim Thaci's request for sending the special mission for monitoring these elections, which is being addressed with high seriousness.

Speaking on behalf of the CEC, Daka said election observers are welcome in Kosovo, as they influence the growth of credibility in the election process and added that the CEC has seriously tried to address the recommendations of observers of past election processes.

Early elections will be held on 6 October this year, the election campaign will last 10 days from 25 September to 4 October.
