For about three weeks, Kosovo's Constitutional Court is failing to respond to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's resignation, who has demanded interpretation of his act of resignation and definition of the government's competencies and operation after this act.
However, the Constitution may not respond to Haradinaj for another month. Constitutional Court officials have told “Zerit” they are considering Haradinaj's request, but on such issues they cannot respond until at least a month and a half passed.
This subject is currently being processed by the Court. As for the timetable for examining this subject, the Court does not have a specific deadline for decision making. However, based on the practice so far on institutional requirements involving the most urgent situation, the minimum time for the Court's decision-making takes place from one and a half months to two months”, says their response to <x2Zit”.
This is because, as they say in the Constitutional, there are a series of procedural actions that the Court must now undertake both prior to the review and after the examination of the subject, which are rigorously implemented in any set request.
