This institution is expected to meet during Tuesday to make the first decisions to serve organising these elections.
The news has been confirmed by CEC spokesman Valmir Elez, who has said that it is up to members of this institution to make those decisions.
Of course, the Central Election Commission will hold meetings during tomorrow. A few decisions are expected in the agenda: cutting the time deadlines of election activities by adjusting them to the available days of the CEC, adopting the Operational Plan, and adopting the planned budget for these elections”, Elezi has said.
He has added that at this meeting, in order for the CEC to succeed in meeting all constitutional and legal obligations, the decision to extend staff work hours will be made.
Otherwise, these are the seventh elections for the Kosovo Assembly since the post-war. So far, since declaring independence, all parliamentary elections in Kosovo, including those that were announced today (2012; 2014; 2017 and 2019), were early elections.
