“Autobus has reached the target in half an hour. There's no one hurt. He's been following the other procedures. It's okay. Serbian authorities have done their job”, has told Express Ibrahim Veselaly, manager at the “company. Speed”
The bus was travelling from Pristina to Frankfurt, when it was hit as it passed through Serbia. According to random witnesses, the bus was mostly packed with Albanians traveling west.
One of the people travelling by bus has said that while the bus was passing through the town of Krushevac in Serbia, it was stoned.
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has demanded that it not travel through Serbia until there is full security.
MPJA spokesman Jethlir Zyberar has said such attacks are disturbing. He has said this attack proves that there is no freedom of movement.
“We strongly condemn the attack on the bus travelling from Kosovo through Serbia. This attack again shows the obstacles Kosovo citizens face during their trip through Serbia. No freedom of movement. We are deeply concerned that continuing attacks like that in the Copenhagen Consulate of Kosovo and now on buses are not stopping from Belgrade and supported by Serbian security mechanisms”, Zyberaj has said.
Zuberaj has added that the MPJ is in contact with the EU and requires full responsibility from Belgrade for these attacks.
He also added that MPJ calls on citizens to avoid travel through Serbia until there is no security for them.
“While former Minister Dacic as Milosevic's spokesman makes all his efforts for false news and propaganda against Kosovo, he should focus on preventing incidents that have been initiated by Belgrade itself. We are in contact with the EU and seek full responsibility and guarantees from Belgrade for security if our citizens travel through Serbia. We also repeat the Kosovo MPJ call to avoid travel through Serbia as long as there is no security for Kosovars, and incidents continue. This is the continuation of the incidents and not the isolated case”, Zyberaj said.
