Avdullah Hoti's long talk on the Day of Distinction

The head of the Democratic League of Kosovo parliamentary group, Avdullah Hoti, ahead of the vote for the distribution of the Parliament, has counted all, as he calls them, coalition scandals PDK- AAK-Nisma - The AKR during the two-year period has governed Kosovo.

Hoti also said they as opposition all the time were dealt with preventing coalition PAN, to enter into dialogue with Serbia contrary to the Kosovo Constitution.

“The majority of time we've been dealing with preventing the coalition PAN also supported by PSD entering dialogue with Serbia in opposition to the Constitution, with the prime minister's intervention in justice and Independent Agency, with legal violations during the invasion of Turkish citizens, with coalition attempt PAN to flee international obligations, with the pardon of reserve taxes ignoring the law, with the president failing to fulfill his constitutional obligations. So this legislature has been the arena of confrontations of position, opposition to expect the legality of Kosovo's constitutionality, rather than the debate over advancing policies with the interest of citizens. As the opposition, we had a coalition of 24 parties, but representing 1/3 of the electorate in Kosovo, a coalition without legitimacy, not professional, with ad hock decision based on narrow political interests and interest groups. Only 30 percent of the legislative agenda of this Parliament has been realised, and only because of the opposition's will to support specific laws. This legislature is closing with many open sessions with over 100 points pending for approval as laws, resolutions and other questions”, he said.

Hoti said coalition governance PAN will remain among the largest governments in the world, which, according to him, has also damaged Kosovo's budget by about 200m euros.

The PAN's “government will remain in history as the largest political government in the world with 454 named political, prime minister with 35 advisers, with five deputy prime ministers, 21 ministers with 145 advisers, 80 deputy ministers with 80 of their co-ordinators... the PAN government with non-legal decisions has damaged the budget by about 200m euros, 60m due to the payment of private companies 53m euros for Bechtel-Ecan, double the government's salary”, he said.

The head of the LDK parliamentary group has not left without mentioning the scandal of the expulsion of Turkish citizens and the correction of borders with Montenegro.

While giving the LDK support for the distribution of the Assembly, Avdullah Hoti stressed that Kosovo needs a normal pro-European government and that it has political maturity with decision-making that respects constitutional order and respects division of power.

Hoti also said government mandate Haradinaj is closing without visa liberalisation, without membership in Interpol, without new recognition.
