Arba Abashi denies he will be candidate for LDK head

One of the many names talked about by the LDK chairman, who is expected to be elected on August 3rd, has also been Arba Abashi.

But, the latter, who is also a member of the leadership of this party, has confirmed to Klan Kosovo that he will not run for the position of the first Democratic League of Kosovo.

Abrashi has made these comments in an interview for Klan Kosovo shortly before entering the LDK leadership meeting.

He has said this meeting is expected to define all feasibility issues for holding the Electoral Assembly on Saturday.

Now, the opinion is also aware that the Electoral Assembly is very close on Saturday. The Assembly of Headship today defines the agenda, regulations, and other protocol matters for this 48x1> assembly.

There is a meeting that precedes the Electoral Assembly so that it can get the best”.

But by what procedures is the Democratic League of Kosovo expected to elect its chairman?

“This is the Election Assembly and does not allow the LDK statute to be changed, where it is regulated as to what the electoral procedure” is like.

For the time being, we must respect this statute that we have and the rule of the Election Assembly work. It's documents that have been approved for years now, and the last Electoral Assembly has had the same regulation”.

“The LDK continues with that and cannot possibly change”.

Abrashi has declared that candidates aimed at LDK leadership will be agreed on Saturday.

A large number of candidacys, which have been announced by themselves, are mentioned, and others have proposed other names. The good news is that it wasn't personally spoken by them, but some have expressed readiness to lead the processes that are good for the LDK and the country”.

The procedure is clear that candidacys are presented in the Assembly, so on Saturday we will be able to see what those candidacy really are and if they take the confidence to enter the race”.
